I was looking at some information about Generation Conference and I came across your name/ministry. I am a Connections Pastor in Framingham, MA. I was involved in a church in Connecticut and life was good...the church was pretty large and I was ministering all the time. Had lots of friends, family, and bible studies going on. But God.. :) Then God called me to leave all that behind, transfer my job, sell my house, leave my church & family & friends, and bring my pregnant wife and 1 yr old son up here to Massachusetts to go help in a church that had just started 1 1/2 years prior to us getting there. I struggled with some of the same things that you blog about...pride, identity, etc. I can tell you that it is SO worth it! Since we've gotten here, I've seen God touch all different kinds of young people....the church has more than tripled since March 2008 and it's a whole church of 20 and 30 year olds who are rising up to be a prophetic generation that brings the Kingdom of heaven to earth...
